On January 13, 2023, Ba Ria – Vung Tau University (BVU) celebrated the 17th anniversary of formation (27/01/2006 – 27/01/2023).
Attending the anniversary celebration, there were Assoc. Prof., Dr., Lawyer. Nguyen Thi Hoai Phuong, BVU Rector; Administrators; and the university lecturers, employees. In 2023, BVU enrolls 65 undergraduate majors and specializations (including 62 national standard programs and 03 talented bachelor’s programs), 05 master’s degrees, and 01 doctoral degree in marine economics, logistics, tourism, business, management, law, foreign languages, social sciences, engineering technology, and health sciences. Speaking at the ceremony, the Rector of BVU congratulated the development, and affirmed the quality and prestige of the University after 17 years of establishment. In 2023, BVU enrolls 65 undergraduate majors and specializations (including 62 national standard programs and 03 talented bachelor’s programs), 05 master’s degrees, and 01 doctoral degree in the fields of marine economics, logistics; tourism; business, management; law; foreign languages, social sciences; engineering technology and health sciences. BVU has granted diplomas over 25,000 bachelors, engineers and masters.

In 2019, BVU obtained national quality accreditation, and in 2021, BVU achieved the international 4-star quality standard of QS Stars-UK. BVU lecturers are well-trained and enthusiastic; the training program has the participation and teaching companionship of businesses and entrepreneurs right from the first year. This is the special strength of BVU, a training facility located in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, which is the leading petrol center, and also seaport and tourism center in the country, where many large and diverse enterprises are concentrated.
BVU held a celebration to say goodbye to the old year and welcome the New Year, year of the Water Cat 2023 with a new spirit, togetherness, and desire to drive BVU to great level.
