On June 16, 2026, at Campus 2, Ba Ria–Vung Tau University (BVU) solemnly held the Ceremony for Announcing Management Personnel Appointment Decisions, aiming to further strengthen its organizational structure, enhance management and operational capacity, and improve educational quality as part of the University’s new development journey.
The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Hoang, President of BVU; Dr. Le Quang Thanh, Vice President; leaders of Faculties, Institutes, Departments, and Centers; as well as the faculty and staff members appointed during this round.
At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Phan Linh, M.A., Head of the Human Resources and Administration Department, acting on behalf of the University President, officially announced the management appointment decisions.
Following the announcement, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Hoang, President of BVU, presented the appointment decisions and congratulatory flowers to the newly appointed faculty and staff members. These appointments not only recognize the individuals’ capabilities, contributions, and sense of responsibility, but also reflect the University’s confidence and expectations for its management team in this new stage of development.

Throughout the 2025–2026 academic year, BVU has progressively restructured its functional units and strengthened its leadership team, moving toward a modern, flexible, and effective governance model. This effort demonstrates the University’s commitment to the spirit of “Innovation – Creativity – Effectiveness” in management, operations, and educational quality enhancement.

- Mr. Ta Quoc Toan, M.A. – Vice Dean, Faculty of Tourism and Health Sciences;
- Mr. Bui Quang Anh, M.A. – Deputy Head, Facilities Management Department;
- Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao, M.A. – Head of High School Relations Division, Marketing and Admissions Center.
Each appointment marks an important milestone and represents both trust and responsibility. BVU firmly believes that, in their new roles, these faculty and staff members will continue to leverage their professional expertise, innovative spirit, and dedication to contribute meaningfully to the University’s continued growth and development.
Immediately following the ceremony, the University Board of Management and management staff convened the June 2026 Administrative Review Meeting. During the meeting, departments reviewed completed activities, discussed ongoing initiatives, and identified key priorities for the coming period, all aimed at advancing BVU’s vision of becoming a modern university with a learner-centered approach.
With its leadership and management team further strengthened, BVU confidently continues its journey of knowledge creation, educational excellence, continuous innovation, and growing recognition within the regional higher education landscape.
