BVU organized the Fell Running Tournament to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the Vietnamese Student’s Traditional Day

In the morning of January 7, 2023, Ba Ria – Vung Tau University held a Fell Running Tournament to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of Vietnamese Student’s Traditional Day at Nui Nho (or Small Mountain) (Vung Tau lighthouse) in Vung Tau City. The 2000 meters men’s and 1500 meters women’s contests drew more than 140 competitors and a huge number of BVU supporters.

Athletes competing in the competition had to run along the Small Mountain Road. Prizes were awarded to the fastest athletes who accomplish the distance in the least amount of time.

More than 140 athletes are BVU students participating in the tournament

The Organizing Committee honored and presented awards to outstanding athletes in two competitive categories at the tournament’s conclusion.

For the men’s category:

The 1st place winner: Tran Van Duong – Major in Hotel Management, Class of 2022, achievement: 7 minutes 50 seconds.

The 2nd place winner: Truong Phi Nhat – Major in English Studies, Class of 2021, achievement: 8 minutes 01 second.

The 3rd place winner: Hoang Van Huy – Major in Logistics and supply chain management, achievement: 8 minutes 05 seconds.

Incentive awards:

Bui Van Hoang – Major in Automotive Engineering Technology, Class of 2022.

Ngo Nguyen Phi Long – Major in Logistics and supply chain management, Class of 2022.

Nguyen Huy Hoang – Major in Logistics and supply chain management, Class of 2020.

The Organizing Committee awarded for the men’s 2000-meter category

For the women’s category:

The 1st place winner: Ngo Ha Van – Major in Logistics and supply chain management, Class of 2020, achievement: 7 minutes 58 seconds.

The 2nd place winner: Le Thi Thu Huyen – Major in Nursing, Class of 2022, achievement: 9 minutes 28 seconds.

The 3rd place winner: Do Thi Cam Diep – Major in Accounting, Class of 2021, achievement 9 minutes 46 seconds.

Incentive awards:

Bui Thao Chau Anh – Major in Business Administration, Class of 2022.

Nguyen Thi Binh – Major in Business Administration, Class of 2022.

Trinh Thi Ngoc Hai – Major in Logistics and supply chain management, Class of 2022.

The Organizing Committee awarded for the women’s 1500-meter category

The Organizing Committee expressed sincere congratulations to the winners! Congratulations to all the students who took part in the Fell Running Tournament for overcoming the distance and outperforming themselves. Sincere appreciation to the BVU Volunteer Club students who participated passionately and contributed to the success of this Fell Running Tournament.
