The Department of Education and Training of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, in collaboration with Ba Ria – Vung Tau University, organized a training conference on the examination and registration regulations for the high school graduation exam, university and college admissions in 2023.
On the afternoon of April 26, 2023, at the Aroma Convention Center, Vung Tau, the Department of Education and Training (GD&DT) of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, in collaboration with Ba Ria – Vung Tau University (BVU), held a training conference on the examination and registration regulations for the high school graduation exam, university and college admissions in 2023.
Delegates in attendance at the conference included Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, and over 200 officials who are leaders of functional offices as well as high school principals, teachers of 12th-grade classes and officials in charge of student records at high schools, and continuing education centers in the province. Representatives from the Provincial Department of Public security and the provincial Military Command also participated. From Ba Ria – Vung Tau University, there was the attendance of Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoai Phuong, Rector of BVU, along with officials, lecturers from the Admissions Center, and other relevant units.
The conference reviewed the high school graduation exam of 2022, provided training on examination regulations, and implemented some new points in the organization of the high school graduation exam. It also discussed the registration process for the exam and the registration of candidates for admission to universities and colleges in the field of Early Childhood Education in 2023.
During the conference, participants discussed and exchanged views on the advantages, difficulties, and shared experiences in organizing the high school graduation exam in their respective units in previous years, with the aim of ensuring a safe, strict, and compliant examination process.
As a university under the Ministry of Education and Training, located within the province, BVU has closely collaborated with the Department of Education and Training, high schools, and continuing education centers in the province to effectively implement career guidance and admission activities in recent years. This is the responsibility of the university to contribute significantly to the training of human resources for Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, the Southeast region, and the whole country.
