Do Thanh Phong demonstrated an article titled “Factors Affecting the Attraction of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Cai Mep – Thi Vai Port Cluster” at the national scientific conference on Logistics and Management “Development of Vietnam’s Logistics and Supply Chain Activities in a New Context”.
“Ba Ria – Vung Tau province recognizes logistics and seaports as significant economic sectors,” according to the summary. “Cai Mep – Thi Vai port cluster becomes Vietnam’s first and the world’s 19th that welcomes super large mother ship port with an inload of 214,000 DWT. The proportion of foreign direct investment attraction in the Cai Mep – Thi Vai port cluster is influenced by factors (variables) such as infrastructure (23.13%), investment policy (11.84%), living and working environment (17.58%), geographical advantages (26.16%), quality of public services (11.19%), and human resources (9.99%). Thus, the factors influencing the level of foreign direct investment attraction are listed in the following order: geographical location, infrastructure, living and working environment, investment policy, quality of public services, human resources”.
