BVU students and Gender equality

In the morning of November 12, 2022, BVU students took part in the Launching Ceremony of the National Action Month on Gender Equality and Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Response 2022, which was arranged at the traditional house of the Vung Tau Revolution by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs in collaboration with the People’s Committee of BR-VT province.

The students learned about the policy and law on gender equality, the National Strategy on Gender Equality in the period 2021-2030, and the Action Plan of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province to execute the National Strategy on Gender Equality in the period 2021-2025 through the program.

This approach demonstrates the need of raising gender equality awareness in education. To assist educational units, officials, instructors, and employees working in the field, frequent communication and awareness education efforts on gender equality must be incorporated in the performance objectives of each level and branch. It is apparent in the sphere of education and training that the risks and realities of gender inequality are impeding the development of people, communities, and the country overall.
