In the morning of December 30, 2022, Ba Ria-Vung Tau University (BVU) welcomed and worked with the Saigon Center for Education Accreditation’s preliminary survey delegation. To preparation for the official survey, the preliminary survey delegation is evaluating 06 university-level training programs, including Logistics and supply chain management, Business Administration, Accounting, English Studies, Oriental Studies, and Information Technology. These are the majors that have attracted the interest of BVU students in recent years.
Participating in the Preliminary Survey, the external assessment experts’ group included Dr. Nguyen Kim Dung – Leader; Assoc. Prof., Dr. Do Hanh Nga; MSc Ha Thi Phuong Minh – Member; MSc Le Nhu Dzi – Secretary of the delegation; and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu – Supervision and assistance.

On the side of Ba Ria – Vung Tau University, there were Assoc. Prof., Dr., Lawyer. Nguyen Thi Hoai Phuong – the Rector; Administrators; Heads of Departments; Self-Assessment Council members; and relevant lecturers and employees.
Dr. Nguyen Kim Dung, on behalf of the external assessment experts’ group, praised Ba Ria – Vung Tau University’s efforts in executing self-evaluation activities and preparing for external assessment. The preliminary survey delegation promised to undertake the evaluation objectively, honestly, transparently, and professionally. Experts gave ideas and recommendations to BVU based on the preliminary survey to assist the institution continue to enhance the quality of training.
During the Opening Ceremony, Assoc. Prof., Dr., Lawyer. Nguyen Thi Hoai Phuong – the Rector of BVU emphasized the importance of quality assurance to the University. The preliminary survey delegation’s opinions and suggestions for 06 training programs at BVU are significantly vital to the University and serve as the foundation for the University to develop and increase training quality. Assoc. Prof., Dr., Lawyer. Nguyen Thi Hoai Phuong was devoted to adequately executing the delegation’s expectations.
Previously, the delegation spent time surveying the actual facilities of the university to understand the working, teaching, research, study and living conditions of officials, lecturers and students related to 06 evaluated training programs.
At the end of the survey, the representative of the external assessment team and the University’s executives signed the preliminary survey conclusions, agreeing on the substance of the official survey program, which will take place in the near future.
