On September 23, 2022, the delegation of Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training led by Minister, Mr. Nguyen Kim Son had a working session with the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in Washington DC. On the behalf of the Council of Higher Education Accreditation, there were Mrs. Michelle Claville – Vice President for Research and Policy Analysis; and Ms. Loretta Waldron – Vice President for Recognition Services. The two sides reached an agreement on the following issues: strengthening partnership between Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training and CHEA; methodologies of accrediting educational quality and higher education.
Assoc. Prof., Dr., Lawyer. Nguyen Thi Hoai Phuong, Rector of Ba Ria – Vung Tau University was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Michelle Claville. Mrs. Michelle Claville also expressed her faith in the contingent of Vietnamese female intellectuals.
