On April 27, 2023, at the Auditorium of Campus 1, Ba Ria – Vung Tau University organized a national workshop with the theme ” Solutions to Sustainable Economic Development.” This event holds significant importance serving the leadership, management, and macroeconomic governance, and also provides an opportunity for business executives, policymakers, and experts to discuss and exchange ideas in search of solutions to promote sustainable economic development in 2023 and the coming years.
During the workshop, speakers and experts shared insights and assessments on the current potential, opportunities, challenges, difficulties, and proposed solutions in various sectors such as real estate, finance and banking, tourism, manufacturing, trade, and law. Additionally, they analyzed and evaluated the overall national development trends and specifically those of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. The presentations focused on the following areas: Economic development in the construction sector, Economic development in the tourism sector, Economic development in the service sector, Economic development in the banking sector, Real estate situation and trends in 2023, and Prospects and employment opportunities in the field of economic law. The workshop was well attended by a large number of university faculty members and students.

After the welcoming speech by MBA. Trinh Dinh Cuong, the speakers presented various topics related to sustainable economic development, particularly in the context of the digital economy.
MSc. Le Dinh Thang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DIC Holdings Construction Joint Stock Company (DC4) and Chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, presented at the seminar.
With topics related to economic development in the construction sector, Mr. Le Dinh Thang provided students with in-depth insights into the economy within the construction industry.
Lawyer Luu Van Tam, a member of the National Bar Association, Deputy Head of the Rewards and Disciplinary Committee of the Vietnam Bar Federation, Deputy Head of the BR-VT Provincial Lawyers Association, and Head of Luu Van Tam Law Office.
Lawyer Luu Van Tam introduced to students various aspects of economic development in the field of Law, within the current context of economic integration.
The students were also enthusiastic about asking questions to the speakers, to gain a broader understanding of the practical aspects of the profession.
