On the morning of May 14, 2023, at the Aroma Center Vung Tau Convention Center, Ba Ria – Vung Tau University (BVU) held a grand graduation ceremony for the first batch of 2023. The ceremony honored and awarded degrees to 47 master’s degree graduates and 571 bachelor’s and engineer’s degree graduates.
The graduation ceremony was attended by members of the University’s Administration Board, faculty members from various departments and institutes, representatives from media and press agencies, and most importantly, over 615 new master’s degree holders, engineers, and bachelors, along with their families.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoai Phuong, the Rector of Ba Ria-Vung Tau University, expressed her expectations by saying, “Today’s graduation ceremony holds a special significance as it marks the end of a journey of academic endeavors and opens up new opportunities for all of you. I believe that you will always stand firm, affirm and leverage the capabilities and brainpower of BVU students, overcome challenges and difficulties to achieve success in your careers, dedicating your enthusiasm to serve and protect our country.”
At the graduation ceremony, BVU announced the decisions and awarded master’s degree certificates to 47 students majoring in Business Administration and Theory and Methodology of English Language Teaching.
On this occasion, the university awarded commendations to 3 top graduates in the master’s degree program, regular bachelor’s degree program, and associate degree program and, additionally, 6 students graduated with outstanding distinction, and 140 students graduated with excellent distinction.
For every student, graduating from university is a significant milestone, marking the completion of their educational journey and the beginning of their careers with dreams, aspirations, and ambitions for the future.
