More opportunities for BVU Food Technology students to intern in Japan

At 13:30 on February 11, 2022, Ba Ria-Vung Tau University had an online meeting with Enjin Association (Japan) and Jizaka Co., Ltd. On behalf of BVU, there were the participation of Dr. Tong Thi Minh Thu – Deputy Head of Department of Testing & Quality Assurance – International Relations, Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet – Head of Food Department, MSc. Truong Thi Loan – Coordinator at the Center for Innovation Career Employment. On the partner side, there was the presence of Mr. Take Ishi – Representative Deputy Director of Enjin Association, Mr. Naka Mura: Representative of Ito Japan Food Company: Production Manager, Ms. Toga Saki: Representative of Food Company Ito Japan, Assistant in charge of managing and supporting Internship, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang: Deputy Director of JIZAKA Co., Ltd.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues about sending BVU students to practice for 6 months or 1 year in Japan. The company agrees to accept students majoring in Food (years 2-3), BVU will introduce students to internship programs and survey students’ aspirations. The two sides agreed to continue to discuss and negotiate more related terms. Hopefully, this will be a potential opportunity for students who majors in Food to have the opportunity to experience internships in Japan.
