In the morning of March 25, 2023, at Campus Hall 1, 80 Truong Cong Dinh, Ward 3, Vung Tau City, the Saigon Centre for Educational Quality Accreditation (CEA-SAIGON) in collaboration with Ba Ria – Vung Tau University (BVU) held a ceremony to announce the Decision and award the Certificate of Education Accreditation for 06 training programs at BVU’s university level, including: Information Technology, Oriental studies, Accounting, Logistics and Supply chain management, English studies and Business administration.
Attending the ceremony, on the side of CEA-SAIGON, there were Dr. Nguyen Kim Dung – Director of the Center; MSc Le Hoang Vu – Deputy Director of the Center and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu – the Center’s Chief of Staff.
On the side of Ba Ria – Vung Tau University, there were Assoc.Prof., Dr., Lawyer. Nguyen Thi Hoai Phuong – Rector of the University together with administrators; representatives of departments, faculties, centers; lecturers, students studying and teaching 6 training programs that are recognized for quality accreditation came to attend.
Addressing during the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Kim Dung commended Ba Ria – Vung Tau University on its exceptional achievements and praised the efforts of its administrators, lecturers, employees, and students in quality assurance work to conform with the University’s goal and vision. She believes that the training programs that have been approved by the Education Accreditation Council and have been awarded the Certificate of Education Accreditation by the Center will be the driving force for the University to keep on enhancing training quality in the near future.
At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof., Dr., Lawyer. Nguyen Thi Hoai Phuong appreciated the CEA-SAIGON Board of Directors and the External Assessment Committee for conducting a thorough review of the University using comprehensive and objective processes and techniques. Thank you to BVU’s lecturers, administration, staff, lecturers, specialists, and students for their command, responsible, and successful collaboration in the accreditation and evaluation of 06 training programs. The principal of the University emphasized that it is critical to accredit and evaluate the quality of education from an independent, reputable, and professional unit, allowing BVU to continue to promote its strengths and overcome limitations, as well as appropriate and effective improvement strategies to continuously improve the quality of training in the future.
The ceremony was a huge success, marking a new development milestone for 6 majors: Information Technology, Oriental studies, Accounting, Logistics and Supply chain management, English studies, and Business administration, as the foundation and motivation for the university to continue to improve the quality of training to meet the needs of the contemporary society.
In 2023, BVU enrolled 3,000 university students in 62 majors and specializations of the National Standard program; 03 talented Bachelor majors. These are sectors with substantial demand for human resources in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, the southern economic area, and the country as a whole.
Applicants must apply by April 15, 2023 to be considered for enterprise scholarships ranging from 2 to 10 million VND.
