On September 22, 2026, at Campus 2, Ba Ria – Vung Tau University (BVU) solemnly hosted the Appointment Ceremony for Key Academic and Administrative Leaders. The move aims to streamline organizational structure, enhance managerial and operational capacity, and elevate academic quality across the university’s new strategic phase.
The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Hoang, President; Dr. Le Quang Thanh, Vice President; alongside deans, directors, department heads, center leads, and the newly appointed faculty and administrative officers.
Acting on behalf of the President, Mr. Tran Phan Linh, M.A., Head of the Human Resources & Administration Department, formally announced the appointment decisions. The appointments cover six managerial roles, including two newly recruited leaders: Dr. Nguyen The Binh and Ms. Hoang Thi Kieu Ly, M.A.
Following the announcement, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Hoang and Dr. Le Quang Thanh presented the official appointment decisions and congratulatory flowers. The milestone not only recognizes each appointee’s professional competence, dedication, and leadership, but also embodies the university’s confidence in its managerial team as it navigates a new era of growth.
As the 2026–2027 academic year gets underway, BVU continues to solidify its leadership team, shifting toward a modern governance model anchored in the philosophy of “Innovation, Creativity, and Efficiency” across administration, institutional operations, and academic excellence.

Concluding the session, President Nguyen Ba Hoang instructed the leadership team to focus on bolstering student enrollment, expediting campus infrastructure upgrades, accelerating digital transformation, and expanding both scientific research and international partnerships.
With its leadership structure continually refined, BVU steps into this new chapter with an innovative, proactive, and quality-driven mindset—fostering a modern academic environment, enriching the student experience, and cementing the university’s reputation in Vietnam and across the region.
