Ba Ria-Vung Tau University signed cooperation with Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province Tourism Association

On the 13th of August, Associate. Prof Pham Vu Phi Ho - Vice President of Ba Ria-Vung Tau University had a meeting with Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Association (a member of Vietnam Tourism Association) on the agreement of cooperation between BVU and the Association.

Ba Ria-Vung Tau (BRVT) Tourism Association currently has more than 70 members, which are the leading tourism enterprises in the province such as Imperial Hotel, Dic Star, OSC Vietnam, The Grand Ho Tram Hotel, Binh Chau Tourist Area...

Tourism - Restaurant - Hotel Management is one of the strong major of Ba Ria-Vung Tau University with advantages of beautiful beaches, many tourist resorts and tourist attraction. In recent years, the training program of Tourism students at BVU has been updated and supplemented with vocational orientation modules according to Vietnam Tourism Occupation Skills Standards (VTOS) and increased practice duration and  highly applicable subjects related to reception, housekeeping, bar service, event management, etc.

At the meeting, BVU and BRVT Tourism Association discussed the following contents: coordinating to advise for People's Committee and relevant departments, agencies to develop a strategy for sustainable tourism development in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, linking strategy, develop specific tourism products for  province and tourism businesses in the province. Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Association will send qualified and experienced experts to join with BVU to build and teach full-time training programs  and short-term training programs for the staff at the tourism businesses inside and outside of the province. Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Association will encourage members (tourism businesses in the province) to coordinate with BVU to arrange internship, seasonal jobs, select and recruit good students. At the same time, the two sides will coordinate to implement other activities related to supporting training activities, promoting and developing tourism products ... of BVU and local tourism enterprises at BR-VT province.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides signed the agreement for future cooperation.
