Introduction:
Ba Ria – Vung Tau University at Vung Tau city, Vietnam ("BVU") recognizes the significant benefits that derive from the use of international volunteers in support of the University's mission of teaching, research, and public service as well as the importance of safely and appropriately engaging these individuals.
We are pleased to have hosted international voluntary teachers from around the world recently. These teachers enrich the campus in many ways including teaching language courses, collaborating with BVU colleagues on research projects, and participating in a wide range of cultural exchange activities. In doing so, they engage in the activities of the campus community, sharing their international experiences and perspectives, and providing rich learning opportunities for students, staff, faculties, and community members. This is to increase mutual understanding between the Vietnamese and the people of other countries by means of educational and cultural exchanges.
This document details the guidelines for inviting international voluntary teachers, including the process of assisting them in obtaining a Working visa if needed.
