ICEA's visit and meeting at Ba Ria – Vung Tau university

On 23/05/2017 Ba Ria - Vung Tau University honored to welcome the delegation of ICAE (International College of Advanced Education) by Jeff Steward (Managing Director of the Asian connection program), Brian O'Gallagher (Deputy Managing Director of the Northern Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and Jason Hana (Vice President of the Hotel Association of Northern Australia) ICEA college is specifically introduce by the Government of Northern Australia to visit and work at Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province and Ba Ria - Vung Tau University for promote training and education cooperation between Northern Territory and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province. ICEA college used to take The award of the Registered Training Organization in Darwin (the capital city of Northern Territory of Australia). ICAE was established in 1997, and offers vocational programs for Australian and international students, also provide the hospitality management training program which is high demand in Darwin. The school is located in Rapid Creek, about 15 minutes by car from Darwin city center. The campus consists of classrooms, fully equipped relative to hotel area with hotel bar, coffee machine, indoor and outdoor student facilities including a soccer field, and wireless broadband bandwidth is available throughout the premises.
ICAE aims to provide educational opportunities and career enhancement training to students. There are specially programs for international students. The international program offers 20-weeks with twosemester per year, with admission in January and July. The first semester of the student is spent attending our classes for minimum of 20 hours per week. During this semester, students conduct theory, practice instruction and assessments are paid according to the regulations of the government of Northern Australia. By the second semester students are taken to work in an approved hotel business. ICAE teachers regularly visit students at workplaces, to support and guide, and conduct student performance assessments. Many international ICAE graduates have been worked in Australia where they have interns while studying at the ICAE. This is an excellent opportunity for international students wishing to study and work in Australia.
In that spirit, on May 23, 1977, the ICAE School visited and discussed opportunities for cooperation with Ba Ria - Vung Tau University. The content of the meeting included an introduction to the organizational structure and activities of the two sides, especially in the area of international relations and cooperation. Within the framework of the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the cooperation programs of both sides. And on BVU's side, there is a strong desire to collaborate with the ICAE, such as the 3 + 1 program (3 years of BVU study and one year of study at ICAE) that BVU has previously carried out with another partners in Japan and Korea and take a lot of positive results. ICAE is very interested in this exchange program and especially in the hospitality management industry, so we have agreed that the two sides will contact and discuss the course program to proceed the detailed framework program. After that BVU will get permission from the Ministry of Education and Training. The meeting ended at 15.00 on the same day and opened many great opportunities cooperation for both sides.
