Academic Training Department

General introduction

Academic Training Department was established on 01st March 2017 according to the Decision No.864/QĐ-BVU of BVU President.

Function

Its mission is to assist the president in organizing and making plan for training development strategy of school; recruitment, entrance examination; inspecting and supervising of all teaching and learning activities of universities, colleges and levels from levels 1 to 4 according to the current Vietnam National Framework, supervising short-term training programs; and the accreditation, quality assurance, improvement the quality of operation of the school's activities.

The Science & Technology - International Cooperation Department of Ba Ria - Vung Tau University was established on 01/03/2017 according to Decision No. 868 / QĐ-BVU of BVU President.

Function

The department is responsible for the organization and planning of development strategies of the science - technology and international cooperation; management of research activities, technology transfer, research cooperation, international relations; training and fostering development of teaching staff engaged in scientific research and international cooperation in order to ensure the training quality to contribute the sustainable development of the university.

Consultation for Employment and Start-ups Center

General introduction

Consultation for Employment and Start-ups Center was established under the decision No. 1240 / QĐ-BVU dated on May 09, 1977 by the President of Ba Ria - Vung Tau University.

Function

Support the President on developing start-up ideas, introducing jobs for students and creating connection between the university and enterprises.

Activities

Moreover, the Center organizes contests on start-up ideas and then raises funds to invest in highly feasible start-up projects.

General Training and Soft Skills Development Center

General introduction

General Training – Soft Skills Development Center was established in March 2017 (Formerly known as the Faculty of Basic Sciences) with its main responsibility of offering courses in soft skills and creative thinking. In addition to the training of general courses, the center has rapidly developed soft skills and creative thinking training courses for students in a wide variety of forms and receives positive feedbacks from students.

Function

Support the president on the organization, management of training courses related to general training and soft skill development programs for students. In addition, center have to organize scientific research activities, associate training, improve knowledge and soft skills for students.
